Beth Peckinpaugh Beasley, CLU, is a partner in Peckinpaugh & Beasley, Inc. in Muncie, where she was born and raised. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1976 with a degree in Special Education, and taught special needs children before entering the insurance business in 1981. 

 

She is a Registered Representative and works extensively in the areas of family insurance planning, individual retirement planning, and issues of particular concern to Seniors. 

 

Beth has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors since entering the insurance business. She has served as State President of NAIFA- Indiana. She served NAIFA-IN as membership chair for 2 years and Professional Development chair for 4 years. She has been President of the East Central IN Association and served three terms as a Board member.  

 

She is married and blessed to be the mother of three sons. 

 

 

Course Description

This course is designed to satisfy the 3-hour Ethics CE requirement for insurance agents in Indiana.  This course will expand an agent's understanding of what ethics and ethical behavior is, why it is important in life and business, and specifically what constitutes ethical behavior in the insurance and financial advising industry.

Learning Objectives

  1. For participants to develop a knowledge of the history and definition of ethics.

  2. For participants to understand the importance and value of ethical behavior in our society.

  3. For participants to develop an understanding of what constitutes ethical behavior as an insurance agent / financial advisor in our society.  Participants shall learn how to avoid to avoid unethical behavior in their professional/business endeavors.
